Who is Steffgen Art?

Carol was blessed with parents who supported her aspirations for

becoming an artist from the very beginning.

Now, she is a well-known artist and teacher in Tucson, Arizona.
Originally from Chicago, she moved to Tucson in 1972 to study art at the University of Arizona. It was there that she fell in love with

the culture and landscapes, which would inspire most of her work.

Her vivid paintings are distinguished by surreal landscapes,
striking portraits, and a bold use of color. Her work has been shown
in galleries and publications throughout the southwest. Carol, works
as an elementary arts specialist in the Sunnyside School District and

continues to paint from her home studio in Tucson, AZ
